Kiren's House

Last night we visited Kiren!  I haven't seen him in several months - he's such a big boy now.  He can walk and talk and do all sorts of big kid things.  And he's even cuter than ever.  Here are some pictures of me and Ki and the fun things we did at his house.

Snow Day!

Yesterday the NYC public schools were closed which meant so was my day care!  Snow day at home!  Look how much snow we got!  This is the view of the fire escape out the back window:

Mom and I got real bored so we invited Ollie to come over and play with kitchen utensils.

And we played around with my wagon!  Ollie really enjoyed pushing me around.  I liked it too, but I was so tired, that's why I look bored...

And Mom stole this little video clip off Ollie's blog (hope you don't mind Ollie's parents!) Silly Mom can't figure out how to get her videos off the new camera! 

Storytime

Grammie and Papa came to visit last weekend and spent some quality time with Elodie.  Here are some snapshots from storytime...

Woobies!

I love my woobies!  Woobies are what Daddy calls blankies...  Mom told Grammie that I love little blankies to snuggle so she made me a couple little ones several months ago.  Now, I carry at least one wherever I go.

And when Grammie came to visit this past weekend she brought me a few new ones... This one is a woobie cape:

She also made me a hankie blankie that is great for carrying around in my mouth.  Mom will have to get a picture of that sometime...  Grammie says she made so many because she learned the hard way what happens when you just have one... (they get lost or turn into rags that your adult daughters won't give up...)

Elodie & her Sock Monkey Slippers...

Here's a few shots of Elodie and her new sock monkey slippers - a Christmas present from Great Aunt Kelly!  She loves monkeys so they're perfect!  She's also showing off some of her new skills - holding her own bottle, cruising along the couch, antagonizing Mitzi and using the remote!

New Camera!

We finally got our new camera!!!  (Thanks for all the Christmas gift cards that contributed to this!)  The camera is a bit complicated, but we were able to capture some pretty amazing pictures by just fooling around with the automatic settings.  Here are some of our favorite "Elodie Expressions."

Lila comes over

Remember Lila?  She came over last weekend.  She turned ONE on December 24.  She can walk now!  I had fun showing her my toys and stuff...

I showed her how I can use my walker...

but she wasn't really impressed...
