Disney on Ice: Princesses and Heroes

I took Elodie to see Disney on Ice again this year!  It was one of the last activities we did in Brooklyn last year and continues to be a fun mommy-daughter date for us!  This year's theme was Princesses and Heroes (aka Princes) so of course she loved it and knew who everyone was this time!  I let her wear a Little Mermaid pajama shirt, Sleeping Beauty skirt and we added a Rapunzel braid that we bought at the show.

Cold

The polar vortex didn't stop Michael and Elodie from breaking in the sled on some real hills!  They spent all morning last weekend checking out the hills at the local elementary school and the middle school.  The report is that Elodie is pretty fearless on the slopes.

Sibling Sledding

After a full day of sledding with Daddy, Elodie showed her brother how to do it.  As you can tell from the grin, he LOVED it too...

New year, new sled.

Happy New Year!  2014 is going to be a great year!

It started with a big snowstorm in Connecticut with record-breaking low temps (8 degrees, with the wind-chill it felt about -4 degrees!)  We woke up today to several inches of fresh powder and after Daddy shoveled the driveway he took Elodie on her first sled adventure!
