We spent an extra 6.5 hours at Fort Lauderdale airport waiting for the runways at Newark airport to be cleared after the blizzard. We were anxious to get home, but realize we were quite lucky to get home!
Here's a clip of what we did to pass the time:
Then when we finally landed and deplaned, we had to go dig our car out of the snow!

1st tooth
So Elodie's first tooth broke through over Thanksgiving weekend. That was over 2 weeks ago. It's just one so far, it's barely made any progress. She started sleeping good again after it came in, but it's just sittin' there hanging out alone! I think it's waiting for some friends before growing any bigger. This past weekend, she thought gnawing on a rib bone would help sharpen it...

| Oh, she's just yakkin' on a bone... |
Merry Christmukkah!
This weekend the Leibenhaut's all came to visit us in Brooklyn and we celebrated a little bit of Christmas and some Hanukkah! We hung Elodie's new Christmas stocking made with love by Great-Grandma Helen, just like Momma's!

Oh Christmas Tree!
We got a Christmas Tree today! Elodie's first. She seemed to be excited to have a real tree in the house. We forgot to take a picture of the whole thing decorated. Stay tuned! El had a ball with the silver ball ornament... (it's plastic)
Elodie's 1st Christmas Ornament
We're still looking for a traditional "Baby's 1st Christmas" ornament, but this weekend we took Elodie to Acorn toy store and saw some interesting ornaments. She picked out this whale made of brown wool and silver sequins (it must have been the flashy sequins that attracted her?) For some reason, she just loves this little whale! Here's us putting it on the tree.
