Ethan at the Green
Easter Egg Hunt
We almost forgot about the Guilford Easter Egg hunt, but Elodie reminded us! Unfortunately, Daddy had to work and we almost missed the whole thing because of El's ballet class, but we made it just in time!
I guess this will be a tradition! We went last year too!
4th Birthday Party (Post 2 of 2)
Ethan also had fun at the party! He was happy to walk around and hang out with the big kids, and as per usual had his cup of snacks with him at all times.
I didn't get many pictures of the decorated room, but it came out pretty festive!
And then the most surprising thing was when Elodie decided she wanted to sing "Let It Go" in front of all her friends and family. She had been talking about doing that for weeks, but I did not think she was serious about it, but apparently she was! Who's kid is this?
Needless to say, it was a long day for this little lady and couldn't even make it to bed!
4th Birthday Party (Post 1 of 2)
On Saturday, April 5 we had a Frozen themed birthday party at the Shoreline YMCA. Elodie was so excited to wear her new Frozen gown made by Grammie. She also insisted on inviting everyone from her two classes at school and to my surprise, almost everyone was able to come, plus cousins and other family! There were 40-50 people!
The kids all seemed to have fun. Here are some pictures from the Play Room:

The Elsa Dress
On Friday night, Grammie, Papa, Aunt Ali and Uncle Rick came over to celebrate! After a pizza dinner we opened presents. Great stuff from everyone, but the most special gift was the hand-made Queen Elsa dress that Grammie made for Elodie. The dress itself deserves a post all it's own (there were several fittings, adjustments and design changes along the way!) But here are a few pictures of Elodie opening the final dress, and one of Ethan who was also very excited!
Party Planning
So Elodie's birthday was last Friday and we had many celebrations! Cupcakes at school, dinner and cake at home and then a big party with friends and family on Saturday! So, all week we were busy with preparations. The theme for everything was Disney's Frozen of course! Elodie and I had lots of fun getting ready and she was a great help.
