More Halloween

We had a busy Halloween!  We started with a delicious lunch with Enzo & Lila and their parents... then we walked around and went to several playgrounds,,,.  then we caught the Cobble Hill Halloween parade and bumped into Kiren and Storey and Kelly... then we went home, and then the jungle came over - Elodie's play group friends Ollie, Zoe, Zadia and their parents!  Elodie stayed awake for the whole day and didn't even have any candy!

Play Date @ Elodie's

We hosted a play date for some of the moms and babies that we met over the summer and continue to see sometimes on Fridays.  It turned out that only the boys could come - 5 of them!  Elodie seemed a bit out of sorts to see all these cute boys playing with all her toys so she spent most of the time trying to crawl off to the side by herself...

Out of all the boys that came over, Ollie is her favorite.  They've hung out several times now and have become very fond of eachother... Look how cute they are together!

Then they thought it might be a good time for that first kiss...

Then Elodie had second thoughts... moving too fast!  Maybe next week, Ollie!

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday we went out to the Queens County Farm with our friends Mia and Dave and their 2 year old daughter Coco.  It was Elodie AND Michael's first trip to a pumpkin patch!  We had to take the Long Island Railroad and a cab to get there.  Elodie was so interested in all the new forms of transportation enjoyed watching Coco pet all the animals at the petting zoo.  We went in a corn maze and ate candy apples and bottles of formula.  The best part was the pumpkin patch, even though it was a typical NYC mess - way too crowded and disorganized...  but Elodie liked to sit amongst the pumpkins and especially liked playing with the straw on the ground.  She tried to shake it like a rattle and was a little disappointed that it didn't make any noise!  We bought a pumpkin and can't wait to carve it later this month!
