Thanksgiving Dinner

Turkey Trot

We started Thanksgiving morning this year as we usually do, at the Madison Turkey Trot.  Michael, Ali, Grammie & I do the 2 mile walk while Papa, Lindsey & Jay do the 5 mile run.  This year, Elodie came with us and made her own personal record!

New Wagon

Grammie & Papa got Elodie a new walker wagon for Christmas!  We put it together for a sneak preview and she loved it (especially being pushed around while sitting in it!)  It turns out she's still too young to walk/push it herself (phew!) but we'll have to test it out again next time we go to CT for a visit.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

November 18 was Michael's birthday.  We celebrated with some cupcakes!  And Aunt Ali baby sat the next night so we could go out on the town.  Thanks Ali!

Stood up

Look who stood up by herself today! Well, I guess I should say pulled
up... She was hootin and hollerin this morning when I was getting
ready for work. I went in to check on her and she was standing in her
play pen grinning from ear to ear! I hope she doesn't start doing
this in the crib!

Crawling!

We've been behind on our blog postings, but Elodie started crawling right after Halloween!  She's getting a little bit harder to manage with her newfound mobility, but it's fun to watch her find her own toys.  She finally realized how to sit up on her own so she's kind of been obsessed with doing that.  Crawl, crawl, sit.  Crawl, crawl, sit.  And now she's started to get frustrated because she just wants to stand up!

Grammie used to dress her baby girls in bandanna's all the time (there
must be hundreds of pictures of the 3 of us in various colors
somewhere...) so she got the idea to try a purple one on Elodie. She
