Last Friday after school, we all had dinner at Jasper's house! Elodie was super excited the whole walk over and immediately felt at home when we got there. She had Jasper ran all over the apartment, checked out their roof deck, ate yummy pizza and jumped on Jasper's full-size bed! She even cried (major fit) when we told her it was time to go home. Jasper's response to the crying episode? "She always cries." Good to know Jasper! Apparantly at school she never gets time-outs because she doesn't hit other kids, she just cries. hmmm.... Anyways. It was a fun time and Jasper still remains her #1 BFF!

This is the second year we went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Kite Festival! I thought I had posted about this last year but I couldn't find the post... Anyways... it was a nice day and we had fun! Check out her outfit. She chose everything herself!
On our last day at 3 Oak Hill, we had a pool party! The D'Amico family came over and we had a barbecue and the kids went swimming. Elodie had fun playing in the water and got increasingly more brave about going in. She really looked up to Rick's nephews Alex and Ashton (age 10 and 8 I think) but didn't care much for Nolan (just a few months younger than her!) Here are some pics of Elodie in the water and a few of the rest of the fam...
A couple weeks ago, the Leibenhaut's moved out of their house at 3 Oak Hill Terrace in Haddam, CT. Grammie and Papa have relocated to West Hartford, near Aunt Lindsey, Uncle Jay and baby Lena, which is exciting. But leaving the Haddam House was kind of hard for all of us and a sappy story I won't get into. In early June the whole family spent their last weekend together at the house and I think one of mine (and Elodie's) favorite memories of playing there will be watching Elodie run around the yard in the rain with Grammie. She looooved it. Here are some pics and a joyful little video that captures it all. I just love this!
A few weeks ago Aunt Katie and Gordon came to visit! It was a hot weekend, but we managed to get out alot and show them some of our favorite things to do. One morning we went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park and rode the carousel again. Elodie brought her best pal Kermit and showed him a good time!
Several weeks ago, we went to Great-Aunt Fern's big Birthday party at her house in Stamford, CT. It was a beautiful day and we all had alot of fun catching up with cousins. aunts, uncles and all the delicious food. Elodie had an especially good time and loved playing with the big kids and running around the big yard.
On Friday evening, we saw Elodie's friend Hattie riding in a bike seat on the back of her Daddy's bike. On Saturday morning, first thing Elodie said was "I want to go on a bike ride with Daddy." So, we got a bike seat! Elodie waited patiently in the store while the seat was installed and was so excited when it was ready (she yelped!) She LOVED it. And even fell asleep on the ride home!
