First Real Fishing Trip!

Yesterday we took Elodie on her first REAL fishing trip!  She did awesome, enjoyed a couple hours on the boat and caught 5 fish!  Daddy was REALLY happy!  Here are some shots:

Baby Bjork

Elodie always let's her teacher at school put her hair back in crazy pigtails (though she won't let mommy touch it!)  She looked so cute, kind of like a Baby Bjork when I picked her up in pigtail buns, a Kermit bandaid on her forehead and pink snow boots with shorts!

BK BBQ

A few weeks ago, the three of us were sitting on the couch.  I asked Michael how his day was and he was telling us what he did.  Then Elodie interrupted:

E: How was your work Mommy?

T: It was pretty good.

E: Who did you play with? 

ha! That's what I ask her every day about her day at school! 

Well, then a couple weekends ago, she got to meet my friends from work at a side yard barbecue in Brooklyn.  Elodie got creative with some costume games:

I don't know how she came up with this game, but it sure is cute! 

It's a BOY!

Yesterday, we all went to the hospital to have the big anatomy ultrasound of Elodie's baby BROTHER!  Dr. Jin told us a month ago she was 90% sure we were having a boy, but it was confirmed on the high-tech equipment that our 20 week old baby is indeed a boy!  We also got to see all the amazing little body parts.  Thank you to Grammie for coming with us to help keep Elodie busy!  She seemed excited about it, but got bored after about 10 minutes, not surprisingly.  I warned her ahead of time that the pictures of the baby wouldn't really look like a baby but would be more like an x-ray.  So, all morning she kept saying "Mommy, I want to see the baby skeleton!"

Making Pizza!

Chef Elodie!  Last weekend we made our own pizza!  El had a great time making the pizza and watching it cook, but by the time it was ready, she didn't want to eat it.  We'll have to try some different ingredients next time!

Bye Bye Little Gym

A couple weeks ago was our last class at the Little Gym.  We might start up again in the fall, but are taking the summer off!  Elodie was sort of losing interest, but had a great time on the last day and even jumped on the big inflatable trampoline that she is usually afraid of!  And, she walked the balance beam about 100 times by herself!  Bye Bye Little Gym.

Last week, Elodie and Jasper had a dinner date at the pizza place chaperoned by just their daddies! Apparantly, it was a great time and of course, the moms missed the cutest walk home ever. The held hands for two whole blocks!  Jaspy (as El so fondly calls him) has been trying to hold her hand for months.... she finally let him!
