Almost every weekend that we stay in Brooklyn, we go to our local coffee shop, Building on Bond for bagels, croissants and coffee. It's a ritual we've been doing since she was just a few weeks old and is such a good marker for how much she's grown! We rememeber how exciting it was when she would just kick her feet in the baby bjorn as we would watch the world cup with other patrons. Then she would start to eat a little bit of croissant. Then she started walking around exploring. Then she'd eat the croissant all by herself. Then she didn't care about eating and just wanted to play and make a mess with the lite brite in the back room. These days, she loves to sit with us while we all eat bagels and we can actually all relax and have conversations, for at least 10 minutes anyways!
