We escaped to Connecticut over the weekend to avoid Hurricane Irene chaos in NYC. Turned out to be not a big deal in the city, though there were lots of fallen trees and power outtages in CT... Lucky for us, Grammie and Papa have a generator so we had it pretty easy!
